VUB researcher Philip Vlummens (MD) has received the BHS Poster Award from the Belgian Hematology Society, as part of his research into Multiple Myeloma within the research group Hematology and Immunology (HEIM).
He presented his results “Targeting protein arginine methyltransferase PRMT5 in high-risk multiple myeloma: a new treatment strategy?” on the General Annual Meeting of the Belgian Hematology Society in La Hulpe, where (inter)national experts in the field of hematology gather every year.
